It is exhilarating to paddle through warm water while gazing the ancient fragment of columns below the water’s surface. As much fun as the baths are, do not miss to visit the ancient Hierapolis with its Theatre, Necropolis, Roman Baths, Agora. The tour returns over Taurus Mountain back to Antalya, where one can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mountain Villages as well as the Lake District during the journey.

Pamukkale, 19 km north of Denizli, is Turkey’s foremost mineral-bath spa because of its natural beauty: hot calcium-laden waters spring from the earth and cascade over a cliff. As they cool they form dramatic travertines of hard, brilliantly white calcium that form pools.

Your full day excursion begins in the early morning when you’re picked up at your Antalya hotel and begin the drive to Pamukkale. After a lunch break you’ll visit the cascading snow-white terraced cliffs of this mysterious Cotton Palace. The calcite-laden waters that had created this unreal landscape come from springs located in a 200-meter high cliff that overlooks the plain. You’ll marvel at the mineral forests, petrified waterfalls, and the series of terraced basins created by these waters.

See the Roman theater, the Apollo temple, Roman baths, fountains, and the agora. After the tour, you’ll will have a chance to swim in thermal pools. An additional option is to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, for an extra fee.

Hierapolis Ancient City
The extensive ruins of the Roman mineral water spa city of Hierapolis include a grand theater, a vast necropolis, colonnaded street, baths, and numerous other ruined structures. Pamukkale’s Sacred Pool remains from Roman times, when it was the spiritual center of the spa city of Hierapolis.

Lake Salda
One way around the world from the surface of Mars to have two special place in Salda Lake, is known as one of Turkey’s enchanting beauty. This lake, which is about 4 km away from the center of Yesilova district of Burdur, is spread over an area of 44 square kilometers. Yeşilova district, Doğanbaba and Salda Lake is surrounded by Kayadibi, is among Turkey’s deepest lake with depths of up to 184 meters.

Salda Lake is one of the cleanest lakes Turkey which situates in Burdur-Denizli-Antalya them in the midst of the city. Located in the Göller Region, this lake is composed of a limestone-like structure called stromatolic rocks. These rocks, which are also seen on the surface of Mars, make it possible to produce magnesium on the surface of the lake. So the lake has a white color and the borders are white.
